Opening: 
The regular monthly meeting of the Troop 500 Committee was called to order at 7:12 p.m. in the Healing Room at St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church.

Present: 
Ron Aguirre, Angelo Armondo, Mark Rayfield, Darlene Whitley, Linda Zaiontz

1. Scoutmaster’s Report: 
   1. Mark Rayfield stated the Summer Camp held June 3 – 9 in Lost Pines in Bastrop went relatively well in spite of the hail storms.  He received and entered the merit badges and rank advance in the Troop master record.  The Court of Honor may be in late August.
   2. Round Table is on the first Thursday. Darlene will attend the next Round Table at Abiding Presence Lutheran Church.
   3. A Possible Lock-in this weekend in Scout Hut with hotdogs, movies and games. The Patrol Leaders will call the scouts to check for availability.
2. Fundraising Report:
   1. Darlene Whitley and Linda Zaiontz will manage the Christmas Poinsettia Sale.  Plants will be delivered Friday, November 30th at the Scout Hut.  Darlene will get the forms to Mark by late August. Each scout will be encouraged to sell 10 plants outside to neighbors or family.  Sales will be at December 1st and 2nd at all the Masses.
   2. We need someone to manage the Taco Breakfast which has a set menu.
   3. We still need a new Popcorn Kernel who will need to take the Popcorn Training in September. We do Show and Sales at the Masses not door to door.  Another email will be sent asking for a Popcorn Kernel. October dates are set.
   4. Ron Aguirre brought in the new shipment of T-Shirts.  The price per shirt is $10.00.
3. Treasurer’s Report:
   1. Angelo Armondo gave copies of the troop financial report and the scout accounts.  Mark made a motion to accept the report and Ron seconded the motion. The report was accepted unanimously.
4. Adjournment:
   1. As there was no further business, Mark made a motion to adjourn, Ron seconded the motion. The meeting was adjourned at 7:52 p.m.  The next meeting is scheduled for the third Wednesday, August 22, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. in the Rosary Room.
