Opening: 
The regular monthly meeting of the Troop 500 Committee was called to order at 7:03 p.m. in the Healing Room at St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church.

Present: 
Ron Aguirre, Angelo Armondo, Mark Rayfield, Darlene Whitley, Linda Zaiontz

1. Scoutmaster’s Report: 
1. Mark stated that the Park Pass is due in April.
2. The Court of Honor will be held on March 25th in the Scout Hut.  Refreshments will include pizza and sodas.  The refreshments will need to be reimbursed. Families and committee members are invited.
3. The Order of Arrows (OA) Election is March 4th.
4. The next campout is February 29 – March 2nd at Guadalupe River State Park.
5. Summer Camp may be a Troop campout.
6. Re-charter is due March 15th
7. Mark explained the criteria for the Centennial Quality Unit Award.
8. There is training requirements that must be completed by Leaders and Committee Members.  Mark will send information to all.
9. Round Table is on the first Thursday at Abiding Presence Lutheran Church. Darlene will attend the next Round Table.
2. Treasurer’s Report:
1. Angelo gave copies of the Treasurer’s report as of 1/16/08 to each committee member.  A motion was made by Mark and seconded by Ron to accept the Treasurer’s report. The motion was unanimously accepted.
2. Mark stated that the Scout Shop Account is low. A motion was made by Armondo and seconded by Ron to write a check for $200 to the Scout Shop for the Troop account.  The motion was unanimously accepted.
3. A motion was made by Mark and seconded by Ron to credit the accounts of the scouts who sold poinsettias for $2.00 per plant.  The motion was unanimously accepted.
3. Adjournment:
1. As there was no further business, Angelo made a motion to adjourn, Ron seconded the motion. The motion was unanimously accepted. The meeting was adjourned at 7:52 p.m.  The next meeting is moved to the fourth Wednesday, March 26, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. in the Healing Room due to Holy Week and Spring Break is the week of the regular meeting.
